On Tuesday 27th September 2022 the Cabinet of Wiltshire Council approved an exciting plan to secure the long-term future of The Old Town Hall in Trowbridge.
The Grade II listed building, owned by Wiltshire Council and run by Trowbridge Town Hall Trust, was going to be subject to extensive refurbishment and remodelling as part of the Future High Streets Fund (FHSF) £16 million investment in Trowbridge, enabling it to provide a greater capacity to hold events as well as a diverse programme of cultural and social activities.
The works kicked off in August 2023, which saw us close out doors for just over two years. We reopened our doors on Saturday 25 October, and within the first 2 months welcomed nearly 20,000 people through our doors. You can find out what’s happening in our building over on our What’s On page.
