October Half-Term Activities

Zine Workshop

Date
Thu 29 October 2026
Time 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM
Price £6 - £10

Get creative with zine-making in this relaxed, hands-on workshop exploring how to make a small DIY magazine.

You’ll experiment with simple creative techniques, collaging words, drawings, images, textures and found materials to create your own mini magazine around a theme that interests you. This could be anything from your favourite colour, people or comic book characters to summer holiday stories, or imagined futures.

This workshop is all about playing, experimenting and seeing where your ideas take you. You don’t need to consider yourself an artist or have any previous experience- there’s no right or wrong way to make a zine, and we’d love to see what ideas you bring!

All materials and equipment are provided, but please feel free to bring any images, writing or drawings to add to your zine. You’ll make one zine to take home at the end of the session.

About the facilitator: Daisy Brown (She/Her) is a site-responsive artist and facilitator based in Wiltshire. She’s interested in how folklore, storytelling and psychogeography can build a different understanding of the places we call home.

Ages: 12 to 18
This is a drop off session, so parents do not need to accompany.
Ticket price: £6 – £10, + booking fee. We want our events to be as accessible as possible, so please choose the ticket price that best suits your circumstances.
